Filing Requirements
for Design
Application:
1- Power
of Attorney,
notarized only.
2-
Certified copy of
the design home or
any other foreign
corresponding
registration
certificate (for
each design).
3- (6)
Photographs of each
design in all
dimensions. (The
Registrar may
request a physical
sample of the design
later)
4-
Technical
description of each
design with the
supporting drawing.
5-
If priority is claimed, then the priority document should be
submitted within 3
months from the date
of filing the
application
* No
application can be
filed unless all
required documents
are available
* During the prosecution of the application, the Israel- Boycott
Bureau may request
from the first time
applicants company a
boycott declaration.
This document is to
be submitted only
when it is actually
requested. In case
the applicant
company has prior
registration( s) in
Syria, then it would
be possible to waive
the request of this
declaration.
Requirements for
Assignment/License
Applications
1- A
notarized power of
attorney from the
assignee or licensee
for each
application.
2- A
legalized deed of
assignment signed by
both the assignor
and the assignee or
license agreement.
3- The
number and date of
the design
concerned.
4- The
name, address,
nationality,
profession and
nature of business
of the assignee or
licensee.
Requirements for
Change of
Name/Address:
1- Power of Attorney
in the new
name/address,
notarized only
2- Certificate
proving the change
of name/address
issued clarifying
date of change, duly
legalized up to the
Consulate of Syria
3- The number and
date of the design
concerned
